The amazing Joanna Connor is a world-renowned blues singer, songwriter and virtuoso guitarist. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Worcester, Massachusetts where she found inspiration by listening to her mother's Blues albums and artists like Buddy Guy and Taj Mahal.  In 1984 Joanna moved to Chicago where she was immediately drawn into that city's legendary local Blues scene. In 1987 she started her own band and in 1989 she landed her first record deal with the the well-known blues label Blind Pig Records. Joanna would eventually go on to record and release 13 studio and live albums and share the stage with blues greats such as James Cotton, Junior Wells, A.C. Reed, and even Buddy Guy.
